There are few things more sweet than a victory after a long winter. I have to admit, in the days and weeks running up to the election, I was blackpilled. It wasn’t so much that I was doomposting (though I do that a bit too frequently), but I was just apathetic. A pall has been over me for a long time. It seemed to me that no matter the injustice, no matter the outrage, no matter the sheer, undeniable corruption, the Left always seemed to get away with it. While the 2016 election had been a bright spot, it quickly faded in my eyes with 2020 and the Covid Lockdowns.
I’ll be frank. I expected Trump to lose. I went to bed thinking the Democrats were going to pull through at the last minute with their usual BS. We all know the story. It looks like we’re winning until tens of thousands of ballots magically arrive at 3am—and then it’s over. The Red Mirage and the Blue Shift. But those millions who turned out for Biden didn’t for Kamala. And while I’m sure there’s nothing suspicious there, let’s put the past aside for a second. Now is the time for celebration. After a nail-biting election season, we won.
We won.
The road ahead may be long and fraught with danger, but this day is indisputably ours.
It’s surreal to think we nearly didn’t have this. When Trump was dodging bullets at that campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania, we were inches away from losing everything. It all depended on Trump. There’s no other man who could’ve stepped to the plate and pulled this off. There was no other man who could’ve moved the masses against the entire establishment, not once—but twice. And whether it be the hand of God or a gust of wind that plucked those bullets away, it wasn’t in vain.
However, what’s been especially interesting to me is the utter confusion and collapse on part of the Left’s narratives. If you’ve been following the discourse, Kamala’s supporters and the Left were shifting very nervously in the weeks and months leading up to election. Shortly before Trump’s victory, there was this bizarre moment of introspection, of hesitancy.
The loss of confidence was palpable, and it was bafflingly uncanny as prominent figures on the Left began starting conversations they should’ve known to avoid. They began asking questions they should’ve known not to ask. And in their anxious hand-wringing, it was like the Left had suddenly been hit with a case of Alzheimer’s.
I recall in October that there was a rush of activity on X (formerly Twitter) as Left-leaning influencers began discussing how to better reach out to young men.
The gall alone blew my mind as tweets began flying, and it was honestly a fascinating look into the Lefts’ internal psychology. Watching them try to appeal to the very demographics they marked as existential enemies was… enlightening. This came hot off the heels over Kamala’s embarrassing interview with Brett Baier. The Harris campaign had been stumbling from disaster to disaster while Trump was running circles around them. The optics nightmare seemingly pushed these influencers out of the woodwork in an attempt to course correct.
First, I want to note the affect of disbelief on the Left. They were surprised they had lost young men. I’m sure some of it was cynical with the smarter activists, but I do genuinely believe there was sincere shock as well. They wouldn’t have opened this can of worms otherwise.
But no one on the Right was surprised. No one who was intellectually honest was shocked. It’s clear as day why young men have been abandoning the Democrats in droves. I mean, do I even have to spell it out? Young white men are on the bottom of the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to American politics. They’re the last on anyone’s list when it comes to education, employment, and pretty much anything else involving money or influence. Meanwhile, they’re the first when it comes to blame and needing to “step up”. Young men have been demonized and scorned in nearly every facet of our society, and the Democrats have made no effort to conceal their sneering disdain for this demographic.
It’s hard to overstate the seething hate that white men receive from the Left every single day. It’s so much that we’ve grown accustomed to it, and it’s seen as outright dangerous whenever a white man doesn’t have a boot firmly on his head. The Left have made it perfectly clear that it doesn’t matter how white men act. It doesn’t matter how restrained they are, or how well they stick by society’s rules, or even how much they will kiss up to the Left. White young men are going to be dead last. And at the Left’s digression, they will obliterate you from existence. You don’t even have to declare yourself an extremist. Simply be at the wrong place at the wrong time, and the entire mainstream media will descend upon you with self-righteous fury.
White young men exist under a constant state of fear from the Eye of Sauron, hoping the Left’s baleful gaze does not fall upon them. They’re all trying to keep their heads down, avoiding cameras and confrontations when yet another scholar chimps out. It’s white men who are afraid to speak up in the classrooms, who are terrified of walking at night in their own cities, who feel like foreigners in their own country. And the Left have gleefully celebrated this fact at every opportunity.
So (and pardon my French) what the fuck were they thinking when they thought we would ever vote for them?
What happened earlier in October was like part of the Left wanted to time travel back to the 1990s—back when they hadn’t burned their bridges and salted the earth. They wanted to forget that they made this conflict existential. As soon as their power was threatened, they threw up their hands and looked beggingly at the male vote.
I think what emerged from this discourse was an answer to an ongoing debate on the Dissident Right.
Academic Agent has been famous for his thesis of the Left “putting the woke away”. Essentially, his stance (and longtime argument with Auron MacIntyre), is that as the Left’s narratives continue to fall apart, they will roll back their more radical messaging to hold power. As Western societies come apart at the seams, the Left will pivot and cool down to keep the frog from jumping out of the boiling water. I think that’s correct insofar as what the Left want to do dispositionally. The problem is that the Left’s attempts of putting the woke away is less the clever scheming of a hyper-competent elite class and more along the lines of profound mental retardation. Or more accurately, the hysterics of a mid-forties screaming schoolmarm.
Here was the Left’s reaction to the idea that the Democrats need to course correct and to listen to young men:
Everyone on the Left was either feigning confusion or seething with outrage. It was chaos, and the timeline on Twitter was beautiful to behold. But it gets better. Because even as these activists reached out to young men, even as they extended the olive branch, even as they desperately tried to win back the demographic they ostracized, they couldn’t conceal their contempt in their voices.
Even as they were noticing the problem, the first thing these influencers did was excuse themselves and the Left of responsibility. As they bemoaned the loss of young men, they immediately turned around and kowtowed to the very things which brought them here. In their chance for introspection, the Left’s entire internal conversation boiled down to this:
“Young men have been alienated from the Left!”
“Did we do anything wrong?”
“No!”
“Should we do anything to win them back?”
“No!”
And there’s good reason for that. If the Left were to admit responsibility, or that they ought to appease young men, that would destroy the narratives they predicated themselves upon. What happens to feminism if men are a victim group? What happens to racism if white people are the ones oppressed? The Left can never allow white men to be a valid identity group because that would annihilate the intersectional power structures that exist to parasitize off this demographic.
But whining doesn’t make the problem go away. The Left still needed an explanation, and the answers were about as juvenile as you would think. We’ve got everything from speculating about brainwashing:
to blaming evil Republicans for snatching them away:
to just outright calling them evil:
The farthest this conversation ever gets is the growing realization that young men are radicalized and a show of tepid empathy. But everyone in the room knows that the conversation ends there. There’s never going to be any talk about wide scale change or support programs or welfare for young men. There’s not going to be any change in the Democratic Party in an attempt to win back this demographic honestly. Everyone knows that they’re just trying to get the suckers to vote for them.
And absolutely nothing will be done.
But this is 2024. The civil rights games we’ve been playing for the past sixty years are yielding diminishing returns. Young white men have nothing to gain supporting the Left. Even the grifters are having trouble coasting on the system by calling out their fellow whites. Gen Z especially can’t play it like the Boomers did. They’ll be passed around and talked about on social media, but as soon as it’s time for a job or upward mobility, they’re screwed.
The Left have drawn a clear line in the sand. If you’re a white man who wants a future and a family, you’re out.
However, despite the Democrats’ painfully obvious contempt, the Kamala campaign knew they still had to make an attempt to reach out to men. Kamala was such a disaster, and Trump was gaining so much momentum that they didn’t have a choice. They had to grovel at their enemy’s feet.
But what was their strategy? What were their arguments? What were the reasons they were going to present to win back the demographic they scorned? Are we going to talk about high immigration, wage deflation, or the housing market? Or perhaps we could renegotiate the social contract and repair the widening gulf between men and women. Will men finally receive some of the love women and minorities have been enjoying for decades?
Well, no. They appealed to men with porn and threats that the scary Republican Congressman was going to stop them from masturbating.
First, you can really tell that the Left are out of touch with young men. Wandering the digital archipelago, I’ve seen some older guys reminisce when porn had a mystique to it. Personally, I’ve never experienced this. Even among my secular peers, at least among those who aren’t totally degenerate, porn is utterly shameful and looked down upon. Everyone’s done it, and nobody wants to admit it. It’s a guilty secret to keep in the closet, not an argument a presidential candidate should make for election.
And among my religious peers, porn is an absolute scourge. You’ll find more men siding with the Republican Congressman as “based” than you will with the coomer.
To even think about airing this ad… it’s obvious the Left have degenerated totally. They are no longer mentally capable of constructing a theory of mind for the Right. They can’t even contemplate what motivates us, what drives us, our dreams and ambitions for the future. They don’t understand us, and they can’t. The Left are ruled by the mental framing of a crazy cat-lady in her forties, and they can only conceive of the Right caricatures so exaggerated that it would make the great satirists of history blush.
What are men? Sex addicts who like football and video games and do “manly” things like wearing flannel shirts.
That’s the full depth of their understanding. It doesn’t even cross their mind to think of fatherhood, of building a home with your own hands, of reaching for excellence and wanting something to take pride in.
Instead, they tell you to watch porn and smoke weed.
All the Left have at this late stage is seething feminine resentment. All their insults revolve around sex and some men’s inability to get it. All they had as a platform was abortion good and Orange Man bad. It all comes back to the threat of The Handmaid’s Tale, even as they shout for prostitution and surrogacy for gay men. In this day and age, it’s easiest to conceptualize Leftist politics as a Mean Girls episode with horny revenge fanfic and abortion fantasies thrown in.
And if you think I’m exaggerating, look at some of the view counts on these screenshots. This is what is being broadcast to millions of people. This is the conversation, the discourse. It’s become so insane out there that any reasonable person thinks I’m the crazy one.
But returning to the whitepill underneath all of this, the Left aren’t playing 4-D chess. They’re openly announcing that they don’t understand us, and they’re panicking. And more importantly—may I remind everyone—we won today. The Left have never been more demoralized, and they can’t begin to course correct because they don’t even know what the problem is. To understand why they lost the 2024 election would require acknowledging perspectives they actively demonize. They lost 2024 because they finally finally suffered the consequences of their actions. And it’s utterly incomprehensible to them.
What gives me great hope is that the Left are thoroughly the uncool party now. They’re the side of scolding schoolmarms and hysterical women. And they’re going to remain like this for the foreseeable future. Judging from the reaction online, they certainly didn’t learn any lessons from this election. They will never be able to win back young men. They will never be able to win back the demographics they lost. They can only radicalize further.
They can’t put the woke away because the woke is how they talk. Even their apologies are woke.
Hell, they can’t help but scold us even as they whine for sympathy.
I’m not saying that the future is certain, that Trump’s victory means the Right itself has won. Far from it. Now we have a task ahead of us, and that is to make the most of these next four years. I don’t know if Trump will follow through on what he started, or if the recent alliance between MAGA and tech-bro billionaires will yield any fruit. I think it’s promising, but to guard against complacency, I would like to remind everyone that Conservatives have famously always found ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
The time before us is one of vigilance, of holding the Left accountable and removing them from power. We have to ignore Conservative cries of unity and fellowship. The Left have made themselves existential enemies, and make no mistake, they want to replace you. If Conservatives let them off the hook this time, I have no doubt they will succeed.
The Right must defend itself against the lawfare of the Left and fight back in turn. There’s no neutrality nor appealing to objective institutions to arbitrate our disputes. The Left will use the illusion of fairness and tradition to stall and undermine the Right at every opportunity. There is no such thing as a value-free system. In reality, everything is people, everything is tribal, everything swears loyalty—one way or another.
The Right must finally develop patronage networks and defend its own people. Leaders must be allowed (or pressured) to hire people from the Right and only from the Right. With the same vigor as the Left, the Rightwing must make the friend/enemy distinction. And while the Left will call the Right racist or bigoted or homophobic, this must not deter us. Any attempt at sabotage must be met with reprisal in turn. We will know the Right is beginning to win when the Left can no longer doxx and defame our guys with impunity. At that point, we will have truly built parallel institutions.
Or failing that, if the next four years are nothing but the Right fumbling its last opportunity to save the country, we still have to take measures in our own lives to guard against modernity’s decline. Network with people, keep on building, and find God. Lead good lives and be good men. So are the men, so are the times.
And to leave you with one final reason to guard against complacency, if we let the Left win, this will be the permanent future of American politics:
After 2020, I had a hard time continuing to trust Trump. I suppose that's a good thing though. He's not perfect, but his victory is still a victory regardless. A battle won, in a much larger war.
I think it's up to all of us to stay frosty, but not be ice cold.
WE WON
