Progress Report/Discord Access for Paid Subscribers

Hello everyone! First, I would like to happily announce that Trantor Publishing has finally crossed 1k subscribers! I am very humbled by the support people have given to this publication. When I started two years ago, I had next to no clue what I was doing, and I remember thinking I would never get to a hundred subscribers—let alone a thousand.

My goal is to grow this Substack into a hub for both all my fiction and non-fiction products. While it’s been slow going at times, I deeply appreciate everyone who’s stuck by me as I try to keep up putting out content.

Just today I published my biggest essay so far covering Star Trek. I intend to release three or four more segments before wrapping it up. At 8k words, it’s already dwarfed anything I’ve done writing wise save my novels. I’m excited to share it, and I look forward to all the feedback!

As mentioned in the essay, I’m starting a discord server for all my paid subscribers. As I’ve said multiple times, I want to make being a paid subscriber to this publication much more rewarding, and this is a new step in that direction. I’m hoping to fill it up with exclusive content including an early access view of the revised edition of Gigaheroes. This is also going to be the best place to engage with me and provide suggestions/feedback/essay topics.
